Welcome to Istanbul! You will be transferred to your hotel and the remainder of the day is yours free to explore at your own pace.
Visit the most important and popular sites of Istanbul in one full day tour. St Sophia Museum, the Byzantine Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace (including Hagia Irene) and Grand Bazaar.
Transfer to the airport for your early morning flight to Kayseri. On arrival, transfer to the village of Urgup to start your tour. Our first stop is Esentepe, followed by a visit to Uchisar Castle. We then visit Goreme Open Air Museum and Ortahisar Castle. Afterwards we visit the fairy chimneys of Pasabag follwed by Devrent Valley.
This morning we head to Pigeon Valley and then Red Valley. After visiting some cave churches we head to one of the area's undergound cities. Afterwards we visit Cavusin village and finally the town of Avanos where we learn about hand-made pottery.
This morning you will be transferred to Kayseri airport for your flight to Izmir. Arrive in Izmir and transfer to Kusadasi. The remainder of the day is yours, free to explore.
Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of the ancient city of Ephesus. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. We also visit the site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will also have the chance to learn about some Turkish handicrafts and to visit the former Greek village of Sirince, located on the top of a mountain and famous for its fruit wines and tastings.
This morning we drive approximately 3 hours to Pamukkale, home of the magnificent white calcium terraces known as the travertines. We will tour the ancient city of Hierapolis, and you can take a dip amongst ancient columns in the hot springs that have been used since ancient times for their therapeutic powers. At the end of the tour, drive back to Kusadasi.
After breakfast your tour concludes with a transfer to Izmir airport for your outbound flight.
