1 - Day itinerary

Day 1

Duration : 1 Hour

Discover Dubrovnik is the ultimate tour for visitors who wish to take in all the main sights and explore the architecture and history of this famous city. Accompanied by our experienced guide, the story of Dubrovnik's golden age will unfold before your eyes.

The route takes you around the Old Town via Onofrio's Fountain and up Prijeko Street to the Old Port - the key to Dubrovnik's trading and maritime success. Along the way you will pay a visit to St. Saviour's, the grandiose Franciscan and Dominican church, and see wine-producing vines believed to be more than 100 years old.

Ships from Dubrovnik were renowned throughout the Mediterranean and galleons from the Republic could be found in navies across Europe and beyond. These ships were built and loaded in the legendary Arsenal, which is another stop on the tour. Once in the Old Port, your guide will relate the stories of the famous Quarantine and the nearby fortresses of St. Luke and St. John as well as legends about the Church of St Blaise, the Cathedral, the Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, and Orlando's Column.

Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Game Of Thrones Tour

2017 - 'Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Game Of Thrones Tour'
1 - Day itinerary

Day 1

Duration : 2 Hours

When the US production company behind the Game of Thrones series picked Dubrovnik as the setting for the capital city of Westeros, King's Landing, they could not have chosen better.

The Old Town is so stunningly striking that it seems to have leapt directly from the pages of George R. R Martin's addictive series of novels and it is no coincidence that Dubrovnik was also a capital city in its own right - of the now extinct Republic of Ragusa. On this tour, you will be taken through all the parts of the Old City where some of the most memorable scenes from the ongoing cultural phenomenon were filmed, including: The Pile Gate where King Joffrey was faced with a citizens' riot and pelted with dung.

The Lovrijenac fort where the unsuccessful attack on King's Landing, known as the Battle of Blackwater, took place.

The seemingly endless fortified walls will be seen from Lovrijenac fortress where Tyrion Lannister and Varys took a stroll, with Tyrion uttering the immortal words: ''where is the god of tits and wine''?

All of the filming locations and commentary from your local guide will be accompanied by large, A4-sized photos that show the screen-shot from the appropriate episode and what took place.

Of course, the people of Dubrovnik are also fiercely proud of their own fascinating history which your guide will also inform you about, alongside the Game of Thrones commentary.

Day Tour - Dubrovnik - A Story About The War

2017 - 'Day Tour - Dubrovnik - A Story About The War'
1 - Day itinerary

Day 1

Departs Daily at 11:30am. Duration : 1 Hours

At the beginning of 20th century, the Balkans was identified as 'the restless corner of Europe'. Many who attempted to explain what was actually going on felt like that the underlying reasons were not so easy to understand for the outside world.

Good understanding of history will help you to connect the dots and see how recent conflicts have laid their roots in the past. Find out why there are so many misconceptions about Croatian war of independence, what it was like to live in a town under siege, and how slowly everything turned back to normal. Your guide will tell you about his experiences, the stories from the ancient and modern history. These Dubrovnik war stories will be told in the spectacular setting of the Old Town, and this will give you a much deeper uptake into the true nature of Dubrovnik and its local people.

Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Montenegro - Kotor and Perast

2017 - 'Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Montenegro - Kotor and Perast'

Gorgeous, breathtaking, majestic, divine; however hefty your thesaurus, the brain-blowing beauty of the Bay of Kotor will leave you struggling for superlatives. Hemmed in by commanding cliffs and shape-shifting between rippling gulfs and sparkling straits, the cobalt cove even manages to defy geographic description: is it a fjord? A submerged canyon? It seems there's only one way to define Boka Kotorska: unmissable. Scattered with photogenic medieval towns admiring their reflections in peacock-blue inlets, the compact bay - or simply, 'Boka', as it's known in local parlance - is stitched together by a series of scenic, serpentine roads, making it easy to explore. On this tour you can explore Kotor, beautiful Perast and optionally visit Our Lady of the Rocks.

Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Medugorje - Mostar

2017 - 'Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Medugorje - Mostar'
1 - Day itinerary

Day 1

On this tour you can explore one of the most popular places in this area, Medugorje. Medugorje is a town located in the Herzegovina region close to the border with Croatia. The town is part of the municipality of Citluk. Since 1981, it has become a popular (though still not officially approved by the Vatican) site of Catholic pilgrimage as a result of apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported by six local children, 10 years before the Bosnian War broke out. This led to much prayer, conversion, fasting, penance and peace. In all this peace, you will have time to reach out to our Lord, with tears and laughter on the steps to the Cross Mountain, climbing Apparition Hill and in the glory of St. James Church and its surroundings.

The city of Mostar will give you you many memories. It's a city of contrast, culture, colour and cuisine. The city is divided by the Neretva River that flows through it, but also by religion and culture from one bank to the other. One could almost entitle the story of the history of Mostar as "The tale of two cities". Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Mostar - Kravica Waterfalls

2017 - 'Day Tour - Dubrovnik - Mostar - Kravica Waterfalls'
1 - Day itinerary

Day 1

The city of Mostar will give you you many memories. It's a city of contrast, culture, colour and cuisine. The city is divided by the Neretva River that flows through it, but also by religion and culture from one bank to the other. Mostar, in the region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a memorable place to visit, a place where "east meets west". Just a short drive up the Adriatic coast and then inland, following the breathtaking Neretva Valley, will offer stunning views of the local countryside. Here, the Neretva River enriches the land; the scents and colours of tangerine and kiwi plantations bring a rich variety to your senses. Among the most fascinating naturalistic features of the Herzegovinian region are the sparkling waterfalls of Kravice. The waterfall was created by the Trebizat river with its tuff deposits, and has been declared a natural phenomenon which is under state protection. With waterfalls stretching over 100m across and tumbling down 25m, Kravice is one of the largest waterfalls in Herzegovina and certainly the most impressive. Day Tour - Belgrade - Novi Sad Sremski Karlovci

2017 - 'Day Tour - Belgrade - Novi Sad Sremski Karlovci'
1 - Day itinerary

Day 1

Duration : 8+ Hours

Visit Serbia's second biggest city Novi Sad and it's Petrovaradin fortress and small baroque town of Karlovci with The Chapel of Peace. Wine tasting included!

First we will visit Krusedol Monastery (XVI c.), legacy of the last Serbian despot family of medieval Serbia and spiritual center of migrated Serbs.

Sremski Karlovci is a small and historic town located 11 km south-east of Novi Sad. Known for baroque architecture and wine production. The Chapel of Peace, stands on a hill at the south end of the town and commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Karlowitz, that brought peace between the Turks and the Austrians.

Novi Sad, second biggest city in Serbia and capitol of Vojvodina province, has always been a centre of culture and learning. Atmosphere of its small but elegant city centre seems somehow little more refined than Serbia capitol - Belgrade. The city of Novi Sad most striking feature is the Petrovaradin Fortress, sitting across the Danube in the Petrovaradin town. Novi Sad city centre has a number of noteworthy buildings and monuments, mostly in the Baroque style, with some excellent museums and art galleries.
